History :
2. Frontispiece to an anonymous 39-page opuscule entitled "Le Salon", 1753, by Jacques Lacombe. The copy digitized on Gallica, call number RESERVE 8-YA3-27 (5,55), has no frontispiece. In contrast, the engraving can be found in the copy held at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, David K. E. Bruce Fund.
