Clorinde is normally helmeted, so that Tancred cannot recognize her.
History :
2. Commissioned three door tops and eight small paintings on the theme of Jerusalem Delivered for the King's Cabinet in the Royal Palace in Turin. The decoration of the cabinet, known as the Pregadio cabinet, is by P. Massa. Vanloo received 1500 lire on Nov. 24, 1733. Top right of door surmounted by Herminie being brought Clorinde's clothes.
