Casanova étant né en 1725, il aurait ici 43 ans, si le tableau date bien de 1768.
History :
2. Le tableau a été décoiuvert à Milan en 1952. L’attribution du portrait à Mengs a été récemment abandonnée au profit de Francesco Narici (1719-1783).
