Description
Duo by Valentine and Raoul, part four: "Plus d'amour! plus d'ivresse!"
Suddenly, the tocsin at Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois rings out. Raoul runs to the window and sees that the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre has begun. Valentine faints at the sight of the first victims. Raoul bids farewell to the lifeless young woman and disappears into the night.
