Léopold Saint-Iver captures Ethelwina (Ethelwina, t1, Buisson, 1802) - Adam after Bornet

Description

Ethelwina has just lost her mother and has no news of her father, who has gone to war. On her way to the castle of Queen Philippa, wife of King Edward III, who has offered her protection, Ethelwina descends into the underground passages of her parents' castle, now her own, to visit her mother's grave. There, she is surprised by Leopold Saint-Iver and his soldiers.

Leopold, her perfidious cousin, had already tried to seduce her on several occasions.
