Description

The Battle of Fleurus (8 Messidor Year II - June 26, 1794) resulted in a French victory over the First Coalition (United Kingdom, Holy Roman Empire, Electorate of Brunswick-Lunebourg). A dirigible balloon had been used by the French to monitor the movement of the Coalition troops.
