Description
In the upper scene, Jesus heals the leper who has come to pester him.
The lower scene is more difficult to analyze. We can imagine that the town in front of which the two characters are standing is Capernaum. A young man comes to ask Simon about Jesus. Simon throws up his hands in refusal: he doesn't know where he is, and Jesus doesn't want to be disturbed. The scene would be extrapolated from these verses:
"In the morning, long before daylight, he got up, went out and went to a deserted place, and there he prayed. Simon and his companions went after him, and when they found him, they said to him, "Everyone is looking for you." (Mk 1:35-37)
