Description
There are two versions of this exorcism scene: in one (Matthew) Jesus heals two demoniacs from Gadara, in the other (Luke) there is only one, from Gerasa. The title suggests Matthew's version, but the image depicts only one possessed person: iconographic tradition follows Luke instead.
