History :
2. The painting, unsigned, was generally attributed to Pieter van Laer. Thomas Kren proposes to reassign it to Johannes Lingelbach based on stylistic analysis (The J. Paul Getty Museum Journal, Vol. 10 (1982), pp. 45-62).
