2. Louis Daguerre and Charles-Marie Bouton joined forces in 1821 to develop dioramas together. In March 1839, their laboratory, where the dioramas were stored, passage du Wauxhall (now rue Léon-Jouhaux, Paris Xe) was destroyed in a fire. Today, only one diorama remains in Bry-sur-Marne and this small one, possibly a modello.
