Description

The coquettes' tribunal is charged with arbitrating the two young women's conflict: the Coquette, on the left, with mask and fan, has summoned for defamation the Modeste, on the right, head and shoulders covered with a large fichu.

The upper part of the almanac depicts the previous episode, in which the Modeste criticizes the Coquette, whom she accuses of losing her mind to adjust herself while admitting to fearing for her honor by calling her a "libertine".
