Jupiter on his cloud welcomes Hercules on the right, helmeted and holding a spear, who climbs towards him. Hebe, promised to Hercules, sits beneath him, holding a cup: she was, before Ganymede, cupbearer to the gods. Juno is seated behind Jupiter.
