These paintings belong to Madame la Marquise de Langeac. They are three feet wide by 2 feet 4 inches high.

History :

2. For this architectural factory, Robert takes up very exactly the Interior view of the tomb of Saint Constance, erroneously called the Temple of Bacchus (Vedute di Roma designate ed incise da Giambattista Piranesi, 1748). He removes the dome and places a jet of water in the center in place of the tomb.
