Description
This cul-de-lampe closes the short story Sidney and Volsan. It shows Volsan's three children - whom Sidney saved from destitution and for whom he became benefactor and dearest friend - raising a monument to his memory. Without Sidney, Volsan would never have been able to found the family that honors his generosity here.
