Description

The savoury pulp they chew, and in the rind,
Still as they thirsted, scoop the brimming stream. (Book IV, 335-336)

While Satan explores the Garden of Eden in search of Man, Adam and Eve carelessly enjoy the earthly paradise, unaware of the threat hanging over them.
