Description
The archangel Michael, holding a flaming sword in his right hand, chases Adam and Eve out of Paradise. Adam holds a spade to cultivate the land; Eve carries a distaff, to spin wool. These objects represent the word of divine punishment, "ruas travailleras à la sueur de ton front.
History :
2. Frescoes commissioned by Fina Buzzacarini, who was the wife of Francis the Elder of Carrara and wanted to be buried next to him.
