Description

To the left, a young woman led by her companion and urged on by a Love moves towards a large company installed in front of the portico of a marvelous palace. The couple is thought to be Rubens and his young wife Hélène Fourment, hence the hypothesis that the work is dated 1630, the year of their marriage.
