Description

History :

1. Inscriptions at the feet of Christ.

2. The borders of the painting have been altered and modified, especially on the left and right, as a result of an earlier lining. According to Félibien, painted in 1653 for Le Nôtre.

3. Compare the central figure in the background with Charity in The Healing of the Palaytic by Pieter van Lint.
