Eusebian tables or canons are the concordance tables compiled by Eusebius of Caesarea in the early 4th century comparing the four canonical Gospels. Based on the continuous numbering of the pericopes in each Gospel and consisting of ten synoptic tables or canons, Eusebian tables list, in descending order of frequency, the parallel passages in the Gospel texts.

In fact, until the 13th century, the current division of the Gospels into chapters did not exist.
