Description

Also known as Dessert part with pâté, fruit, oille pot and huilier. 

Booklet from the 1757 Salon:

n° 33. Two Paintings, one of which represents preparations for some dishes on a kitchen table ; and the other a dessert party on a galley table. They are taken from the Cabinet de l'Ecole Fra,çaise of M. La Live de July.

History :
  1. Signed and dated on the right, in two lines "Chardin | 1756 "
  2. Coll. Ange-Laurent Lalive de Jully in 1757. Donated to the Musée de Carcassonne in 1846.
  3. Replica in the Louvre.
