A knight repels Don Juan (L'Hermite, t2, Ménard, 1816) - Simonet after Sonna

Description

The novel's two antagonists, d'Arembert and Don Juan, have managed to get their hands on one of the heroines, Belisene, whom Don Juan desires. Don Juan comes to see her one evening to force her to give in, but a mysterious knight in armor interferes, reminding him of the Narbonne mountains where the antagonists' secret crimes took place in the past. In reality, it's Berenger, d'Arembert's brother, whom the antagonists thought had killed precisely in those mountains.
