Description

It's time for the trial and the revelations: the Count of Dusseldorf is on trial for the murder of his brother Ferdinand, which his other brother Albert had engineered. But in a twist of fate, as the Count of Dusseldorf stands before his judges and the curious crowd, and as Pastor Godfried Haustein tries to speak to him, Ferdinand intervenes and reveals his identity, demonstrating that he is not in fact dead, thus clearing the Count's name and saving his life.
