Description
After Olivier secretly marries Célanire, the treacherous Armoflède tricks the knight into believing that his lover is cheating on him. To prove her infidelity, she discreetly takes him to see Célanire one night in the presence of a man who is actually Diaulas, her hidden brother. But Olivier, not knowing him, lets his fury explode: he advances and pierces Célanire with his sword before attempting to end her life, while Diaulas flees. Both characters are found the next day unconscious and seriously wounded.
