Description
Isambard and Olivier, while traveling, rescue Ordalie, a young woman who had already been saved by Olivier on a previous trip to Saxony. This time, Ordalie had been forced into a marriage while her real husband was locked up in an underground cellar. After freeing Ordalie from her tormentor Rotbold, they all descend into an underground chamber where her husband was being held captive, but as Olivier approaches him, he realizes that this husband is none other than Diaulas, the brother of the wife he tragically murdered in the past. Riddled with remorse, he faints without Diaulas immediately recognizing him: while Isambard supports Olivier as he falls, Ordalie and Diaulas embrace on the left, and a child shares their joy. It's Mirva, a child saved by Diaulas and now the couple's adopted son.
