Sabina Laskowska-Hinz lectures on English Literature at the University of Gdansk in Poland. Her PhD is entitled “The image of it gives me content already”: The Critical Interpretations of Polish Theatrical Posters for Shakespeare Productions in the Years 1966-1989. A Study of Motives and Approaches (University of Warsaw, 2022). Her main fields of interest include the relationships between text and image, Shakespeare theatre posters and artists as literary critics. She has published articles in national and international journals such as Multicultural Shakespeare: Translation, Appropriation and PerformanceAnglicaShakespeare en devenir (online) and a chapter “Władysław Czachórski – a Polish Painter with Italian Soul and Shakespearean Vision Hamlet Receiving the Players” in Professor Marrapodi’s monography Shakespeare and the Visual Arts: The Italian Influence (Anglo-Italian Renaissance Studies).
