In the foreground on the right, Orlando learns the history of the Ebudians from the young girl holding the ford between Normandy and Brittany: he promises her that he will fight the orc that is ravaging their island. In the background on the left, Orlando enters Dordrecht to kill Cimosco and rescue Bireno.
