Description
Me miserable! which way shall I fly
Infinite wrath, and infinite despair? (Book IV, 73-74)
Satan has just landed on Earth, where he must carry out his plan: to tempt Man and bring him down. But before he can act, he is assailed by various passions that distort his face: torn between remorse, rage and jealousy, he finally confirms himself in evil.
